First you want to dust those Halloween decorations off and figure out which ones you would like to continue to keep. Are there certain ones that are on their last leg and need to see the trash soon? Are others in such great condition and there is no need to throw them away? You know what to do and going through EVERYTHING is the first step.

Decorations That Need To Be Thrown Away

Okay, so you’ve gone through them and have the ones that need to be thrown away. You have to be sure though that none of these items have the option of recycling. Remember that anything that is paper, glass or even plastic must go in a recycling bin.

Items That Can Be Recycled

So you know which Halloween decorations are to be trashed and you have your pile of recyclables ready to go. Now what do you do with them? Obviously you can put them in the correct bins (anything that is broken) but what if someone else might be able to use them? Any items that are in good working condition can be donated to the salvation army or good will. Churches would work well here too.

For any Halloween decorations that you do not want to throw away, or even recycle, you always have the option to sell the ones that you do not want anymore. Any online auction site or holding a garage sale would be best. You can also list them in the classified ads. Many people will scour these venues for finding old Halloween decorations from the past. You can make a quick buck and recoup some of what you paid for that Halloween decoration.
