Themes You Can Try For Your Next Halloween Party
October just wouldn’t be complete without a Halloween party. It is a great way for children as well as adults to celebrate that spooky time of the year. For every good party, there is always a theme but if last year’s was an absolute hit, how will you top it? That’s where you have to get creative. I’m listing several theme ideas that you can use for your next Halloween party.
A Mystery Dinner That Involves Murderr
Okay so this might be an obvious choice but it doesn’t make it any less fun! If you are an Agatha Christie fan then you will love planning this Halloween party theme. You can do it from scratch or purchase one of those popular games. Doing it from scratch is the most fun and you will have to involve at least one of your friends because he or she will be the murder.
Treasure Hunt
These are always exciting for any Halloween party. It is best to have several teams here so there is more competition, thus making your guests try all the more harder to win! Make sure you have an enjoyable prize at the end of the night.
Ghost Story Night
What would Halloween be without a good ghost story or two?? Tell your guests the only requirement in order to come to the Halloween party is to have at least two scary ghost stories (fiction or not). Why not do it outside over a fire to make it all the more spooky? You may or may not decide if children are allowed provided that the stories are appropriate.
Carve Pumpkins
This is always fun to do at any Halloween party and parents can bring the kids here as well. Be warned though, it can get very messy and make sure there is enough room for all of your guests. You might want to hold this outside. Give everyone their own pumpkin and then hold a contest at the end of the night. The person who is most creative with their pumpkin wins some sort of prize!
