The Haunted Mansion At Disneyland
Sometime during the early years of the 1960’s, the man known as Walt Disney started to construct plans for the Haunted Mansion. He decided to compose illusions which showed visitors, spirits and ghosts. When Walt Disney passed away in the late 1960’s, construction stopped but a few years later the Haunted Mansion opened up for business. Since then, many people have claimed to see actual ghosts and to this day, several have the belief that the Haunted Mansion is really haunted.
It has been said one ghost in particular was possibly a male that had perished in a plane that went down near the Haunted Mansion. Workers at Disneyland have simply dubbed him “the man with the cane”. Employees have seen this man during the late hours after the attraction has closed for the day.
In addition to “the man with the cane”, another ghost that has been seen is another male and his attire is that of a tuxedo. A popular place where he appears in the Haunted Mansion is in a mirror that is in the visitors area. A female worker who quit shortly thereafter claimed to have seen this man and quickly realized that only his reflection was seen and nothing else. She stated that somebody had touched her own shoulder and that she had felt a cold spot.
A third ghost has even appeared in the Haunted Mansion. People have stated they believe it to be a baby who is a boy and appears to cry. There is a tale that says the baby’s mother has strewn the boy’s ashes about in this Haunted Mansion and the boy is upset about it to this day.
Cynics have said that this sort of environment encourages people to have creative imaginations who see things that can not possibly be real. But note that many tourists have claimed that visiting the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland creates an experience that is eerie and chilling.
