The Best Halloween Music To Play At Your Party Part Two

(Don’t Fear) The Reaper

Halloween music not to be missed is “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” by Blue Oyster Cult. This is a great classic song that can be enjoyed for many years to come. It has a great following including that of Rolling Stone magazine which selected this song in 1976 as the “Best Rock Single”.

Somebody’s Watching Me

If you want a sugary 80’s pop song (listen to those keyboards!)that you want to feature with other Halloween music, then “Somebody’s Watching Me” is right up your alley. This single was by a man who went by Rockwell and if you listen closely to the song you will notice some vocals that are familiar which is that of Michael and his brother Jermaine Jackson. The video is also great in case you want to have it running during your Halloween party.

Zombie

“Zombie” by the band, The Cranberries, is not actually about Zombies at all but it is still a great tune that features heavy riffs which are sure to get your guests up out of their seats. The song was released in the mid 90’s and was one of the most popular songs to date for the band. It peaked at number 3 in Ireland, which is where the band is from. A great single to add to your list of Halloween music.

Werewolves of London

Who doesn’t think of werewolves on Halloween? This song, “Werewolves of London” by Warren Zevon has funny lyrics including seeing a werewolf downing a pina colada. What’s not to love, a perfect song for Halloween music. This song has been covered so many times, I’ve lost count. Another great classic.

People Are Strange

If you’ve never heard this song, you are living under a rock. This great track was released by The Doors in the late 1960’s and has since been covered many times and for good reason! It’s a great tune to have as Halloween music at your party. The song reached number twelve in the United States.
