If you are ever in or around Athens, Georgia during the Halloween season, you will not want to miss their annual haunted house night of screams. They currently have three horrifying locations for all to enjoy and it promises to be more than spooktacular.
First up for the haunted house night of screams is what they call the Vortex of Terror. Its creators boast that the only guide you will have absolute trust in is your sixth sense to get you through this attraction. Remember that at the Vortex of Terror, nothing is what it seems. Haunted house night of screams’ next terrifying attraction is the lovely Dungeon of Darkness. It sounds scary enough right? So there has got to be some back story here. The Dungeon of Darkness at one time was a prison in the early 1800′s. Its doors were soon closed soon and what went on here is too frightening to speak of. Will you have what it takes to get through the Dungeon of Darkness?
Finally the last of the haunted house night of screams is perhaps the most scariest of all, is the Hazard Mansion. And if you are wondering, of course it is haunted! This is Halloween after all. Apparently Colonel Hazard, the owner of the mansion, is not ready to leave his dwelling any time soon. He’s waiting to meet you if you dare enter his home.
Haunted house night of scream is located in the Perimeter Square Shopping Center in Athens, Georgia. Admission is $10.00 per person but if you choose to see all 3 attractions, it is only $20.00. This is generally adult and teen entertainment but smaller children may attend but only if accompanied by their parents or older guests. Pregnant women should definitely stay home. Note that cameras of any kind are not allowed while viewing the attractions but any creatures that you might find yourself near, that are outside,
will most likely be okay with having their picture taken.
