Halloween Party Games

There are many things to consider when planning a Halloween party. A party would not be as fun if the host did not have any games to entertain the visitors with. They should be fun and exciting and you should have at least a few where everyone will want to participate. It is important to give it as much consideration as you would with the food and decor. I have some games ideas to keep your next Halloween party all the more exciting.

Karaoke

A great way to keep everyone entertained and involved is to have karaoke at your Halloween party. If everyone is having a good time after awhile even the inhibited will want to give it a go. It’s also great to have Halloween themed songs such as The Monster Mash, Thriller, Addams Family, Dead Man’s Party, Don’t Fear The Reaper and the always favorite, Ghostbusters.

Fortune Telling or Tarot Card Reading

Now technically this isn’t a game but it is something fun, for your next Halloween party, hire a fortune teller. It is best to select someone with references or you could find someone through word of mouth. What person doesn’t like getting their fortune read for free?? Your guests will have nothing to lose.

Charades

A great game to add to any Halloween party is charades. Remember that this is Halloween so have a little bit of a twist with these charades and have the phrases centered around this festive occasion. Have your guests break up into teams of two or if you have a large amount of people, have them break up into more groups. Make sure you have prizes at the end for the winning group.

Food Eating Contest

For anyone who wants to try, hold a food eating contest at your next Halloween party. Have this food separate from the food you will be having as snacks at the party. But you should still make sure this food is centered around Halloween to keep everyone in the festive mood.
