Food Ideas For Your Haunted Halloween Party Part One
The scariest day of the year is Halloween. What better way to celebrate that festive time of the year then with a haunted Halloween party. Now everybody knows the biggest hit of any party is by far the food, and chances are, that your visitors will want some spooky goodies at the table. That will make your haunted Halloween party all the more enjoyable.
Everyone knows that no Halloween would be complete without that Jack O’Lantern but what do you do with the insides? If you are having a Halloween themed party, don’t throw them away just yet! Keep them and there are all sorts of wonderful treats you can create such as cookies, pies, muffins or even cupcakes.
Another great snack is toffee apples. No haunted Halloween party would be complete without them! You can even have plain apples where people can bob for them. Cookies are always a hit but you want them to be scary right? So make sure to use a cookie cutter that comes in shapes of spiders, bats, ghosts and witches. You can even put orange frosting with black sprinkles if you want. Use black and orange jelly beans. Get as creative as you want here.
Now what about the beverages? Any orange colored liquid would work such as juice, orange punch or soda but here is a little scare that you can give your guests. Take a plastic glove (make sure that it is clean), put red punch in it and tie it at the opening. Then place it in the freezer overnight. Right before your haunted Halloween party, place it in the bowl holding your orange punch, soda or juice. Not only will it keep the beverage cool but it will give your guests a good scare!
Finally, how about deviled eggs at your next Halloween party? Take your eggs and let them boil. Then make sure you tap the shells all over to create cracks in them. Take those eggs and put them in some water and add food coloring that is red and vinegar. Soak them for about half an hour. When you remove the shells off the eggs, the cracks will look like blood!
