13 Stories About Famous Ghosts Part Three

Orson Welles is probably known as one of Tinseltown’s greatest contributors of all time and comes in at number seven in my 13 stories about famous ghosts. Not only was he a director and producer, but he was an actor as well.  He had a love of all things cinema and passions extended beyond work which included food. During his lifetime, Welles was a regular at Sweet Lady Jane’s Restaurant. Several workers along with guests at this fine establishment have witnessed the director’s spirit seated at a preferred table he was known to sit at in life. People have also reported the scent of cigars as well as brandy shortly after his apparition manifested.

I am more than half way through my 13 stories! My next one involves the fine actor, Clifton Webb who was known for roles such as The Razor’s Edge and Laura where he earned Academy Award nominations for both films. He has shown up at the Hollywood Memorial Cemetery where his body lies today. It seems he doesn’t want to leave. Webb has also been known to frequent a previous home in the beautiful Beverly Hills.

During the 1970’s, Redd Foxx was a television fixture in homes thanks to his role as Fred G. Sanford in the beloved comedy series known as Sanford and Son. Even though Foxx worked rather steadily during his life, two years before he passed, the Internal Revenue Service acquired his Las Vegas home due to taxes that he had owed. Foxx at the moment still seems rather unpleased with this seizure because he is said to haunt the house that was once taken from him. All sorts of weird experiences have happened with the current owners which include doors opening on their own as well as computers that power on only to power off without anyone touching them.
